Replacing roof lowers bi-weekly bills

I held off replacing the roof on my lake house for as long as possible, and since the roof had been patched so several times, every one of us needed to tear the whole thing off & start from scratch, but my lake house is huge & this was a gigantic & expensive project to tackle… However, it got to the point where I was picking shingles out of the lawn & garden after every windstorm, then whenever it rained, every one of us had to set up pots & pans to catch the leaks, i knew the moisture would eventually lead to structural damage & mold growth.

I finally hired a roofing corporation at the start of July, however because of constant rain, they held off starting labor until the start of July.

By then, the temperature had climbed into the high eighties. With the roof missing, every one of us weren’t able to run the central a/c, but the lake house hastily became unbearably hot & sticky. We also dealt with a non stop influx of bugs, dust & assorted debris from the roofing project. The inside & outside of the lake house was a complete mess. I couldn’t wait for the corporations to finish, so I could clean up & lower the temperature control. Without A/C, my whole family complained that it was impossible to get comfortable or sleep at night. When the new roof was installed & I started up the central a/c, I expected it to struggle to bring the temperature down. I figured the cooling plan would labor all day long to reach the temperature control setting. Instead, the lake house was cool in a couple of hours, and ever since replacing the roof, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in bi-weekly bi-weekly bills. The lake house is absolutely tighter & more energy efficient.
