The cooling stations were my idea at the theme park

I have already written here about a few of my experiences toiling in a major theme park, but I can’t say the name of the park, because my bosses are crazily litigious and would fire me right away for saying anything about my work.

Let’s just say I work in the park that has the big mice, Nicky and Ninny, okay? I have held all types of unusual positions at the park, but my newest task is unquestionably my preferred one.

It easily involves a new system I designed to help enhance the performances of the costumed people walking the park… Their costumes are so heavy and warm I came to realize they could use a personal air conditioner inside the costume to remain perfectly cool, and help them work at a higher level. Of course the people I was with and I can’t stick an air conditioner device inside a costume, however I thought of the next best thing. I set up many cooling stations all around the park, a room where a performer could go in and hook up a small air duct to a vent in their costume. For a couple of minutes they could relax still and let the air conditioning pump into their costume… Sure it wasn’t perfect, but it honestly helped, and that little blast of cooling really helped these performers prefer their tasks a great deal more. For now I am mostly walking around between these cooling stations, making sure the vents and machines are all in excellent toiling order. We are just testing it out in one particular zone of the park, but soon the people I was with and I will put in cooling stations all around!
