I was so aggravated when I got home Tuesday and discovered that my heating system had stopped toiling! My exhausting cat was home all day separate from heat.
- After much searching, I found her curled up in my bed, under the sheets! She never does this.
She must have been trying to stay warm. My home was freezing freezing so I called out a heating system repair business instantly. They were able to send someone out that same night. Thankfully, the heating system repair was a quick fix, but when I asked how I can prevent my cat from freezing all day again the repairman recommend two things. One, was that I have my heating system worked on at least once a year in the Fall. The other, was that I get a smart thermostat. A smart thermostat affixs to my PC so I can regularly see what temperature my home is. I can even set an alarm for an alert if my home drops below a certain degree. I asked if this could be installed right now and the worker said he could! Usually, he wouldn’t on an emergency call however it was a slow night so he would go ahead and install it. It did not take long for him to get the smart thermostat hooked up. It cost less than I would have expected too. When I went to toil on Tuesday I was delighted that I could see my home temperature from the office. I know my kitty is staying nice a hot all day while I toil now. I know I will get that preventative heating system service next Fall too. I will be using the same corporation
