Space heating system to keep reptiles warm

Everyone in my neighborhood got a notice telling us that the power would be turned off all weekend for some repairs. This wouldn’t be an issue if it wasn’t winter time, but our part doesn’t get freezing freezing although I have a giant collection of reptiles and invertebrates. Each of them has particular temperature requirements; Moving such a giant collection to a friend’s house is not possible. That’s why I started looking for ways I could keep them sizzling instead. I ended up deciding to get a space heating system and a generator. The space heating system will not keep the freezing blooded pets as sizzling as they might like, however it will keep them sizzling enough that they will live. If I use a space heating system in the reptile room it should keep them nice and sizzling for a few mornings, and so I went out and got the cheapest generator I could find and then made sure I had enough gas to keep it running all weekend. I will not feed the reptiles a few mornings before the power outage. I do not want them to get sick. I will also crank up the central heating system Thursday night to make sure the house is nice and sizzling and can hold heat for a few mornings. I feel pretty nice about this and I know the pets will be safe! Besides, it’s nice to have an emergency plan in case the power goes out unexpectedly sometime anyhow. Now I just need to find a way to keep myself entertained without internet or cable. It should not be too difficult, given all the pets I have.
