That’s why I decided against doing that.
My husband tends to keep our cabin chilly cold with the temperature control set at about 62 degrees, and i have learned to live with it by wearing jackets plus moderate socks year round! However, my friend and I are currently pet laying our neighbor’s animal plus its a sphynx, the poor bald kitty is constantly chilly cold. It is hard enough to keep a bald animal moderate under normal temperature control setting. It is nearly impossible under super cold settings with the air conditioner blasting all afternoon; Even with the animal wearing a little jacket, she is still super cold! Finally, I turned the temperature control up a few degrees plus set it to 73. The animal got comfortable by my husband is not. He is all sweaty plus keeps complaining. He has no right too. He was the one who volunteered to watch the animal after all. I considered using a space heating system to keep the animal moderate in one room of the cabin even though I am sad she might start a fire. That’s why I decided against doing that. Instead, I used a heated blanket to keep the animal moderate while cranking the air conditioner back down to a colder temperature, but now the animal plus the husband are both comfortable. I am comfortable enough with my jacket on however this whole thing has got me seriously considering getting zone control for our cabin so that bizarre parts of the cabin can be kept at bizarre temperatures all of the time. Then I can be comfortable, my husband can be comfortable, plus the animal would be comfortable too if my friend and I ever watch her again.
