About two months ago, we got a call to run quality AC service at the sports club.
Working as a cooling specialist in the HVAC business is always full of drama.
Each day is different with a different set of drama which kills the boredom at work. The changing rooms at the sports club and the lounge could get very cold during winter and sweltering and stuffy in summer. Their heating and cooling system also often malfunctions during the summer. When the crew arrived, the first order of business was to inspect the cooling equipment and thermostat to see if everything was in good working condition. The electric heat pump needed significant repair, and the AC filter was doing little to improve the air quality or help with indoor comfort. After that, we cleaned what needed to be cleaned and lubricated the parts that needed lubrication. Every cooling technician was hands-on; we finished the work fast, and they did not have to delay their opening time. Half an hour after we returned, I responded to a call that came in at the cooling corporation. The homeowner wanted an HVAC contractor who could look into her climate control system to find out if she could use the same HVAC brand for another house she owned. We visited the new and old homes, and I did my assessments. The result was that we would use similar cooling technology that could be identical to the old one. We then set a date for the HVAC installation, a fortnight from the time of assessment. I also had to deliver a HEPA filter on my way there to the homeowner, who called the local service provider just minutes before I left the office. I was surprised that the homeowners were a young couple in their twenties.
