My very close friend & her fiance have been trying to have a baby for over a decade now, then and finally, they got a little girl, however she is the most sparse thing & her parents treat her enjoy the little princess that she is, however recently they found out that the little baby has eczema, and her skin is always dry and feeling bothered, and my friend got upset that it would get worse in the Winter because the heating system would dry the air out so much.
She looked into getting a whole house humidifier however decided that wasn’t for them; I don’t remember why.
Anyway, they made the choice to go ahead and get underfloor heating installed instead. Apparently underfloor heating is much less drying than forced air heat is. Of course this meant that all of the floors in the house would have to be pulled up so that the heating elements could be located under the flooring, and they, more or less, had to take everything out of the house as if they were moving, well, the movers did anyway. My best friend, & her family, stayed at my house for almost a month while all of this was taking location. I have to say that once they were ready to move back into their house with state of the art underfloor heating I was concerned to see them go. I have definitely grown to like that sweet baby boy, then but, I am sure, they will need a babysitter from time to time. And when they do I will be ready & sitting by. If I’m lucky I will get to watch her in their home. Then I can enjoy the underfloor heating too.
