We were fortunate. The recent earthquake did not do much harm to our house. In fact, my associate and I thought a few picture frames were the only casualties. That is until my associate and I noticed that our air conditioner was not working right. Half of the loft did not seem to be getting cooling air at all. My wifey made a quick call to the air conditioner repair company in addition to they were not able to come out for two mornings. It seems a lot of people were having complications. When they did arrive the contractor took a look at our compressor in addition to other workings in addition to then she went into the attic. I could hear him messing around up there for several minutes in addition to then came down in addition to told us it was all fixed. She said that a box my associate and I had stored in the attic had fallen on our air duct, disconnecting it. That was all! She had reconnected the air duct in addition to taped it a little bit. She said my associate and I were luck in addition to that she had diagnosed a loft the afternoon before where they air duct had moved because the loft was no longer level. They were going to have to spend thousands to try to relevel their home. When I expressed problem that this might be our case she informed me that she had checked in addition to our attic was still level. She reassured me that it was just a box that had caused the harm. My unbelievable friend and I were undoubtedly grateful that my associate and I had gotten away so easily… From now on, my associate and I will be careful how my associate and I stack our storage boxes in the attic as well.
