Fitness coaching was the missing element

For me, I learn so much better when I see how something is done. I think that would make me a visual learner if I have the term correct. All I know is that when I’m active in whatever training exercise, it really stays with me so much better. The same has been true with my latest foray into a gym membership. I had joined gyms in the past but found it to be just a huge waste of money because I was never motivated to go. I had no workout program and understood very little about wellness and fitness at all. But as I’m not too far from fifty, I wanted to do more to elevate my health and wellness. It’s not as though I was horribly out of shape but my muscle tone was lacking and I just wanted a higher fitness level. So I took another shot at the gym. But this time, I did something different. I availed myself of the fitness coaching. This was something that I had promised myself that I would do. I wasn’t wasting anymore money on a gym membership that I would let lapse in a few months. Plus, I did this with a friend of mine in order to use the buddy system as it relates to going to the gym. We both have the same personal trainer and very similar workout programs. The difference between this gym membership and the rest has been like night and day. And the results from my fitness coaching speak for themselves.
