I wasn’t originally considering a hoe automation system.
I was interested in replacing my thermostat! The device required manual adjustment & was nothing more than a plastic dial.
I doubted its accuracy, then most days, I would forget to raise or lower the thermostat before my hubby & I headed for toil & the teenagers left for school. The boiler or cooling system would then blast all day long. I’d pay to heat or cool an empty apartment to the ideal temperature. If I managed to adjust the thermostat prior to leaving in the day, my family would return apartment to an hot or cold house. I started looking into smar thermostats with learning capacity; After replacement, the device keeps track of every adjustment over the course of a week & learns the daily schedule. It then creates a personalized program & automatically raises or lowers temperature settings accordingly. As I read up on smart thermostats, I observed that one of the features was compatibility with a whole-apartment automation system, but reading up on apartment automation, I learned that I could incorporate the operation of the thermostat, dehumidifier, lights & all of our smart appliances into a single hub. Plus, I could add in a security system complete with automated locks, window sensors & surveillance cameras. I’d have access to all aspects of the automated system via an app on my iPhone. This would allow me to make adjustments & monitor interest whether I was at apartment or away. I liked the energy saving possibilities & overall convenience, but because of modern wireless technology, the replacement of the apartment automation system was not damaging or disruptive.
