I actually prefer camping throughout the Summer months.
My partner does not prefer it as much as I do, although I get him to come with me most of the time.
I take one ladies camping trip per summer, and that is so much fun. There are usually about eight of us ladies altogether, and my friend and I have a blast! Last year, I ended up cutting my leg in a canoeing adventure, so I was not able to go on the ladies trip. I was so disappointed. My friend and I ended up planning a second ladies trip that year, but it was in September. It gets super cold here in September, so that was a poor idea. It was about forty degrees during the day and thirty degrees or lower during the mornings. My friend and I truthfully had a actually good time except for my heating issues. I have a nice big camper, so five of us ladies stayed in my camper, and unluckyly, the boiler in my camper stopped working the second day of the trip. My friend and I had payed for a full week of camping, and my friend and I could not get our currency back, so my friend and I were not going to let a stupid boiler get in the way of our fun week. I looked into buying a brand new boiler from someone at the campsite, but it was super extravagant. I decided that I was going to buy a propane space heating system instead. I drove to a store about an hour away and purchased a propane heating system plus a forty pound propane tank. The propane heating system really worked super well. My friend and I had to turn the heating system down a few times because it got too moderate in the camper.
