I have always wondered what they used while in old times to cool themselves off. However, I do not have to wonder any longer. For thousands of years, we have always had a way to heat our properties. While gas furnaces are a relatively modern invention, there have always been types of heating systems that would help us to be warm in the freezing winters. However, it is commonly taught that air conditioner equipment is a relatively modern invention. The air conditioner equipment as we think of them is a modern invention, but I used to be under the impression that people just dealt with the heat when they were feeling too hot while in the warm season. I didn’t really know how people would remain cool while in the hot season. Without an air conditioner, they had to rely on fans, shade, or wind to make themselves feel completely cool, or so I thought. However, I recently was able to learn that the people of old times had air conditioner equipment as we do. Well, technically, they didn’t really have air conditioner equipment in quite the same way, however the concept was rather similar. Without electricity to power normal air conditioner equipment, old people would have pipes in their walls that had cool water flowing through them. This cool water would cool the entire room down tremendously. Normally, only the richest people would have these air conditioners, plus it made it totally comfortable. Today, richer people have central air conditioner equipment. I am thankful that Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment companies have developed cheaper Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C units for everyone to use. I still recognize that it is pretty cool that they had some type of air conditioner equipment in the old days.
