My heat pump plan just died as well as my fiance is on me to get a up-to-date 1, however just because the loft came with a heat pump doesn’t mean I have to buy another 1.
I actually wasn’t a fan of using a heat pump system.
It moves existing heat energy rather than creates it! Doing this means it is certainly energy efficient. However, if you live in a frosty part where the temperatures drop below 40 degrees, the heat pump is not entirely effective. Around 1 month out of the year my heat pump is virtually worthless. I would need to use space gas heating systems to supply supplemental heating. My fiance might not have cared how exhausting the loft looked, but I did. I am thinking I want a more heavy duty gas furnace. I could get high velocity AC to be used most of the year as well as then get a fireplace for the living room. I have been looking online as well as there are some lovely fireplaces out there. I found 1 that has a faux wood burning fire with a glass front plate. There is also a little ledge you can sit on as well as a top mantle to put things on. It looks certainly elaborate, classy as well as almost rustic. I suppose adding that to the living room will entirely make the room pop, however getting the gas fireplace installed doesn’t seem to be a complicated process either. I suppose the Heating as well as Air Conditioning serviceman could do the heating system replacement in 1 day without a hitch. I am willing to pay a little more not to freeze this winter.
