My husband and I have been living in the same house for ten years now. When we first bought the house we knew that we were going to have to do repairs, but we didn’t think that it would cost too much money. The only thing we were really worried about was having to replace the heating and cooling system. Our new house was built about fifty years ago and the heating and cooling system hadn’t been replaced since then. I knew that the entire heating and cooling system was going to have to be replaced because the technology was so outdated. However, I didn’t expect it to cost as much as it actually did. When I called the HVAC company to get a quote, I was shocked at the price they gave me. I think my husband and I are going to have to wait a little while longer to replace the heating and cooling system because we were prepared to spend that much money upfront. I think we should have enough money saved up in about six months to get a new heating and cooling system which isn’t too long. However, we were hoping to get a new heating and cooling system installed before the summer months. We are just going to have to wait I guess. Thankfully the weather in the summer here doesn’t get too because that would have been brutal to have to go through the summer without an updated heating and cooling system.
