I have never been really handy around the house.
- I am a creative type, usually lost in our own thoughts, so fixing stuff plus doing repairs has regularly been outside our wheelhouse.
This was easier as a tenant, because when something needed fixed I called the property owner, or the super, however now that our wife plus I own a locale both of us have to pay someone just to come out plus assess our issues. That really adds up, so I knew I needed to teach myself some domestic skills to help us out. I started by watching some Youtube videos about the basics of Heating plus Air Conditioning systems, because that was the most overpriced thing to repair, and seriously, now I realize why property owners have so more than 2 strange kinds of service people around, because Heating plus Air Conditioning labor is really overpriced! That isn’t a giant surprise, it’s isn’t prefer kneeling bricks or hanging drywall, Heating plus Air Conditioning systems are incredibly complex things. I was almost afraid to touch our a/c until I had spent a few days watching videos! From there I l gained about increasing the air filter, plus it turned out that ours had never been changed plus was disgusting. The air filter was so caked it was almost gooey, plus I had to drop it into a garbage bin just to take it out of the house. I did watch a few more Heating plus Air Conditioning videos, however after that I just had to admit that I didn’t have a sharp enough mind for all those components. Heating plus Air Conditioning systems are something better left in the hands of experts.
